Microsoft has started warning Windows 11 users that certain features, like the snipping tool, emoji panel, the accounts page and the touch keyboard, are breaking.
Apparently the certificate expired October 31st and as a result, the new operating system is failing to load certain features. While there is a patch that is addressing a few of the concerns, it isn't being pushed out as an automatic update and must be installed manually. The patch does not fix the snipping tool feature.
So what should you do if you're one of the affected users and need to capture your screen? Click the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard, and then Paste into whichever document or email message you need to. You can also paste the image into Microsoft's Paint program where you can then make any changes you need to it.
